Joy, I love the Clydesdales! I just never post, because there isn't much to say except that I love the Clydesdales. :-)

I think you hit the nail on the head re: liking winter. I liked it a lot more when I wasn't a commuter, and when I also got to go out in play in it. Now it's all the work with none of the fun. That's one reason I loved the video so much--reminds me that winter is fun.

Joan, I can imagine that a release from tourists is a breath of fresh air. Even in the city, there is a kind of quiet after a big snowfall that is peaceful. Thanks for reminding me of it!

That looks like so much fun. I love horses anyway. When I was young many of my friends had horses but we never got to do that.

I happen to love winter. I love the peace and quiet of it. Living in such a big summer tourist town, winter is just so sweet and peaceful. No traffic, no tourists, the beach is calm, it's just wonderful. I even like a good snowstorm.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Clydesdales. They don't get a lot of comments so I'm never sure if people enjoy them or not.

I love winter. I really do. But I'm at home and don't have to be out and about in it so I guess it's different for me. From my "window," it's wonderful. I guess even when I did have to be out in it, I still loved it. I just hate the humidity and tornado's so much. I guess I feel this is better than that.

I envy those kids and the memory they will have being pulled by those horses. I really enjoyed seeing that. Thanks for posting it.

It's funny--right after I posted this, I looked at the weather and saw we might get three inches of snow tonight, and I immediately thought, "Hey, I'm sick of winter after all!" And now I see it's only nine degrees out there. Ack!

I'm gonna think happy thoughts. I'm gonna think happy thoughts. I'm gonna think happy thoughts.

It really doesn't last forever, though.

I'll remind you if I remember to amidst the grousing I do round about the end of January. For me, the last two weeks of January are really the killer. Maybe the first week in February, too. Otherwise, time just shoots by.

Oh, you are far more positive about winter than I am...I'd elaborate on why and all the rest but I don't think I could do that without risking spoiling your great attitude. So instead of discussing that I will try to focus on all the comments you made that explain why winter is almost over....

Cheers to a speedy thaw.
